Message from President Cline,

As you explore our iconic campuses, from the breathtaking former Gold Coast estate of LIU Post to the urban oasis of LIU Brooklyn and the one-of-a-kind international experience of LIU Global, you will get a glimpse of the unique student experience offered at LIU. Our 500 degree and certificate programs, our acclaimed experiential learning initiatives, and the service learning opportunities of “LIU Cares” provide a powerful understanding of LIU’s mission. We are constantly creating new opportunities to prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century.

LIU launched an aggressive plan to advance the University in 2015 after more than a year of university-wide conversations around the entire LIU community’s shared ambition to be a nationally-recognized institution. We have made tremendous progress against these goals, and make more gains each year. New innovative and in-demand academic programs, a growing research agenda, vibrant student life, and championship athletics have come to define the LIU experience. We are proud that we have undertaken such transformative changes while remaining true to our core values of providing a high quality education to students of all backgrounds.

With globally connected campuses and world-class faculty and staff, you will find something special at LIU. We strive each day to live up to our motto: “Urbi et Orbi – to the City and to the World!”
